Customer Reviews:

Decent blu ray transfer decent but the disc skips and absolutely no extras (20 August 2010)
This is a good movie and the blu ray transfer of it is pretty good but what I find unacceptable is that while the majority of the movie plays fine, there are a few spots in the beginning where the video gets sort of choppy and it almost looks like you are watching the movie in a very fast stop motion form. This can be seen in the beginning of the movie when Pierce is getting out of his limo and walking into the art gallery. It even continues this way until he sits down at his haystacks painting. It picks up again a minute later in the scene where the security guards are going over the delivery to the museum. After this scene the video jutter seems to stop for the rest of the movie. I have watched a lot of blu ray movies and this is the first blu ray movie where I have experienced this video jutter. The transfer of a movie to blu ray does not have to be perfect for me to want to own it but the fact that this blu ray suffers from the problems with the video I have described makes me want to throw this disc in the garbage. I also want to point out that first I bought this blu ray from Amazon and then I rented it from Netflix and both discs had the same problems in the same places in the movie should it is very unlikely that there is some hardware error with my blu ray player. I think "A.Dent", who wrote the "most helpful critical review" on this site summed up this blu rays problems best and I really just wanted to back this person up on their claims. Movie studios should not release poor quality blu ray movies and then have consumers waste money on these blu ray movies just to make a quick buck. They should get blu ray transfers right the first time or not release them at all. Thanks for nothing MGM, maybe in the future you will release a second blu ray transfer of The Thomas Crown Affair that is of good quality and maybe even throw in a few extras in that version. In sum, don't buy this disc; wait for a better version to come out.

Two hours wasted (22 July 2010)
An unbelivably long and boring movie. Very often I needed to press the fast forward button. A total waste of precious time. I could not believe I even finished the whole movie.

Great movie, far beyond any expectations!!!Roles talored made for Brosnan and Russo!!!! (04 July 2010)
Amazing plot!!!I Think it is by far the best role Pierce Brosnan ever played!!!1999 was a good movie year, and The Thomas Crown Affair was its best movie!!!

Ps for amazon.com: I think it is most apropriate to have more disk specifications such as subtitle.

The Thomas Crown Affair blu ray (29 May 2010)
A classic movie remade! And it is even better in blu ray. For Pierce Brosnan fans this is a must have. He and Rene Russo are amazing. You have to see it!

The Thomas Crown Affair (Blu-ray) (10 May 2010)
The latest version of the Steve McQueen classic. This is a very well done update of this cat-and-mouse game. Both Brosnan and Russo are radiant in their roles and play off one another beautifully. This is a very enjoyable movie, the Blu-ray is excellent although this is not a film that really needs it.
