| | Customer Reviews: A great buy (03 August 2010)This is a great dvd with a few disappointing short films. Remember the Time, Jam, Black and White and Keep it in the Closet are great videos. Keep it in the Closet has to be one of the sexiest videos ever made. The black panther dance at the end of Black and White is one of the greatest interpretative dances ever. I was disappointed that MJ gave into critics and painted racist slogans on the car and store windows to explain his breaking glass. His interpretation of a panther's sexuality and violence does not need an explanation. I liked Will You Be There and Dangerous. It is too bad MJ never did a short film for Dangerous. It is a great song and deserves better than concert clips. On the other hand, Gone to Soon is a too sweet memorial to Ryan White. Unfortunately most people won't know who he was. I was disappointed in Give Into Me. This is another version of Dirty Diana. But I think Give Into Me is a better song and hoped for a better film. Who Is It?, another great song is turned into a slick, pointless spy story. The video doesn't come close to the dark lyrics. Heal the World makes 2 appearances. I never saw the original Super Bowl show but this version seems very short. The behind the scenes clips are interesting and worth the cost of the dvd. I think this is worth the cost and the great short films more than make up for the not so great films. INCREDIBLE! (30 July 2010)I've been a Michael Jackson fan since I was just a wee one, and I love everything he's ever done. I had a copy of this years ago, and it got lost in my mom's attic when I left home to join the military. Because we live on different coasts, instead of flying over to dig it out, I just decided to buy a new copy. This collection is just as good today as it was when I first saw it. Michael is the most incredible singer, dancer, arranger, director, etc. He put his heart and soul into everything he did, and it is definitely evident. This collection is a fantastic example of his raw talent, his sex appeal, and his incredible devotion to his work. The behind-the-scenes clips are a wonderful insight into how awesome he must have been to work with. Every Michael Jackson fan must own this; anyone who is curious about Michael Jackson, anyone who is unsure about Michael Jackson, even those who don't like Michael Jackson should watch/own this collection. Great gift (28 July 2010)This DVD was requested as a bithday gift and the "birthday" boy was delighted to receive it. Excellent! (27 February 2010)I'm not sure who has enjoyed this DVD more, me (43) or my 3 year old niece. You can't go wrong with this one. Awesome DVD (12 February 2010)This DVD saved me on a recent trip to South Carolina. It was an 8 1/2 hour ride and this DVD kept me entertained the whole time! |
