Customer Reviews:

  classic.. (23 July 2010)
if you don't own this movie, that's a crime in it's self. just a great movie all around.

RAW, VIOLENT, FOUL LANGUAGE (07 June 2010)
CAN they make a ghetto movie without all that foul language??? yes it happens, but all movies about black young men killing each other and rapping are violent, raw, and the language is awful!!!

throwback must have (13 May 2010)
this is one of my fav' throw back movies. It shows how life growing up was in south central post black panther collapse.

"Being a black man in America isn't easy" (21 January 2010)
I never heard of this movie until 08 lol yea im very late, but when I saw the movie it was on B.E.T. so I dashed down stairs and watched the real version on the computer. The movie is very good and I enjoy those types of movies but I do have to say the negative images in those African American movies is starting to get to me. I do enjoy some of the positive things in the movie.

Menace II Society (05 January 2010)
Story about everyday life in Watts as seen through the eyes of a teenager who is trying to overcome his bleak surroundings. This movie gives younger individuals a chance to understand the decisions they make during their teens and early adulthood and to always find hope in time of hardships. A classic to new generations.
