| ![]() | Customer Reviews:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() EXCELLENT JOB! (17 July 2010)I don't think they could have made Golden Collection (6 sets: 1-6) any better! PLEASE come out with more as a good sized collector's sets! there are 1,001 cartoons from 1929-1969 & we need to have this preserved & out for us to enjoy! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() SuperFantastic Memories (06 July 2010)One of the best purchases of the year! The characterizations of Hitler and Stalin are priceless. I love the opening apology - "they weren't appropriate then, and they aren't appropriate now." Either way, hilarious all the way. Looney Tunes rocks!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Didn't get it (08 June 2010)After receiving an email on 4/30 that my item shipped, I finally requested a return on 5/12. I never received the product. At least my account was credited for the refund. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() chronological order and censored eleven (05 May 2010)The release of these classics is important for all classic cartoon fans and hold pop culture and historical value. the restoration made is marvellous. having said all that, why werent these cartoons realeased in chronological order? they could do it the way it was done in most of the 'Walt diseny tresures' series, with each character (Bugs, Daffy,Sylvester,Tweety, Speedy etc.) given its full cartoon filmogarphy in chrnological order (though Warner did do better then Diseny in not producing their DVD collections in limited copies, most of which you cannot find now in reasonable prices). Also, to this day Warner Has not released much of the black and white cartoons, like the early Bosko ones(some i understand were relaesed under a different label) which are not considerd "politically correct" but hold also historical value. They also have not released or plan to release the infamous 'censored eleve' (which are banned from TV), again beacause of their racilly stereotypes (ignoring their historical importance and the public basic right to see them). Warner (and all producers of classic cartoon DVDs)should consider it their historical duty to release all of their cartoon treasues (including all of Popeye) resotred and unedited in DVD. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() As advertised (17 April 2010)The dvd's were as advertised and the delivery was prompt. I am happy with the service. |
