Love this video! It's hard..but it's very "doable". Don't give up...I tell myself every day.."It's 20 minutes...I can do 20 minutes"!!!

This is one of the best purchases I could've made to improve my health. I've been doing the Shred for a little over a month now, and I haven't felt this good in years! I started the workout at 120 lbs (5'3"), so a little out of shape and not liking the way my clothes fit anymore. I hadn't worked out on steadily in years, so the first week or so of the Shred was really tough. I came out of the 30 minute workout so out of breath and pretty much collapsed on the floor as soon as it finished. Now, a month later, I still work up a great sweat but I can do everything Jillian asks of me and come out of the workout feeling refreshed and ready for anything.

Jillian is a taskmaster. She asks a lot of us, but her workout really does pump up the heartrate and work many parts of the body. Believe me, it's worth the 30 minutes each day to feel stronger and have your clothes fit the way you want them to.

Now, I've been doing Level 1 this whole month. I've tried Level 2, but I just don't enjoy it as much, and when it comes to making myself work out every day, I'd prefer to do a workout I enjoy. Level 1 is that for me. Plus, I still work up a sweat every time I do Level 1. So, after a month of doing Level 1 everyday, and maintaining a fairly low-calorie diet, I've lost 3 pounds and 2 inches off of my waist. My arms have never been this toned, and my abs feel strong. I plan on continuing to do Level 1 everyday until I get bored with it and want to move on. Or, until I reach a plateau and find myself not seeing results anymore.

In summary... buy this DVD if you don't have a lot of time to work out but want to get a great quality workout! It's the only workout DVD I've tried that I'm not bored with and that gives me the results I want.

  Good beside annoying ads and intro (18 March 2010)
This is a good workout DVD. it is not great but i like it. I believe that Jackie warner one is great!
The Bad:
- u cant skip the advertisement and intro. U only have 20min a day for a workout and it is very annoying if u have to listen to sales for 3-5min every time.
- Julian doesn't always explain why were r doing the move we are doing and what is that good for. She talk a lot but don't said much.
- she doesn't do the exercise herself for a long time enough for u to understand. as soon as she start she go to the beginner girl of her team and if u are advanced u dont really know what to do.
The good:
- Nice workout, you sweat and it is not easy + the cardio is good


  Great Workout! (18 March 2010)
While I have never done/seen the workout personally, I gave this to my mom for christmas and she has really enjoyed it. She is an active person but usually just walks for exercise. The workouts really make her sweat and sore...and are easy to get done since they don't take a lot of time.

I bought this dvd for the days I can not make it to the gym. It does the trick and more. I love that in 30 minutes I get a full body workout including abs and cardio. You don't need a bunch of equipment, only need a small set of weights to begin. Although I wanted to punch Jillian a few times during the routine, in the end I was very happy I did those final reps.
